This is a composite of 2 images, one for the ice cream and the other for the out of focus background. (manual focus stacking)
The color was very yellow OOC but I was able to correct it in PP.
The dynamic range was difficult in this image.
Taken with the 70-300 vr at 300 and cropped about 50% I am pleased with that lens since it has been fixed.
Excessive dynamic range. A large portion of the sky was blown here. I applied ADL and used recovery sliders to bring back the sky and lift some of the shadows. It suffers from blue fringing in the trees and clipped shadows around the hut.
There is too much reflection in this image, even though I was using a polarizer.
This was taken with the 14-24. The edges seem quite unsharp to me. Maybe this is a DOF issue? I had plenty of shutter speed so should have used a tighter aperture for more DOF.
Taken at 300mm and cropped.
Taken at 300mm. Not cropped. The white balance was very yellow. I cooled it down a bit in NX2.
Shadows were problematic here.
This was cropped to square and applied a dry brush filter in PP.
Changed to B&W in PP.
Major difficulty with dynamic range. I applied ADL and recovery sliders in NX2. I have lots of blue fringing on the upper left. This is our tour guide. He was a very interesting gentleman.
Dynamic range problems here too. I darkened the rock to the left of the water fall.
The background was almost totally blown on this. I Used a green brush in NX2 to colorize the background.
More blown highlights here too. I tried to tone them down, rather unsuccessfully. This was also taken with the 14-24.
